The total length of the road will be approximately 135 km, the statement said, after the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) cleared the proposal.
The project will expedite improvement of infrastructure in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, it said, adding that the development of this stretch will also help in uplifting the socio-economic condition of this region.
The project covers the districts of Sonepat, Faridabad and Palwal in Haryana and Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.
