Crop loan target set at Rs 5,350 cr

The Andhra Pradesh government has fixed a crop loan target of Rs 5,350 crore for 2010-11, of which the target for kharif is Rs 3,181 crore and rabi Rs 2,169 crore. While the target for kharif 2009-10 was Rs 2,519 crore, the achievement was Rs 2,587.35 crore. For rabi, it was Rs 1,800 crore while the achievement was Rs 1,919.08 crore.

At a review meeting on the function of the AP State Cooperative Bank Limited (Apcob), District Central Co-operative Banks and primary agricultural cooperative societies here , chief minister Rosaiah expressed satisfaction that as against the total loan target of Rs 4,319 crore for 2009-10, disbursements achieved by Apcob were Rs 2,587.35 crore.
