After the initial choice of the Atthwa farm land of the Gujarat Agricultural University generated much controversy, the industry now seems to have extended its search beyond Surat to the Hazira industrial area where it wants the land earmarked for an industrial estate of the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC).
