Mumbai: Tata group Chairman Ratan Tata rejects allegations of giving bribe to former telecom minister A Raja to secure 2G spectrum allocation and said charges being made in the court proceedings are an attempt at diversion.

Anna Hazare and his civil society camp members burn copies of the Lokpal Bill introduced by Government in Parliament, calling the legislation "weak, anti-poor and anti-Dalit."

Bangalore: Lok Sabha member DV Sadananda Gowda is being sworn-in as chief minister of Karnataka, succeeding BS Yeddyurappa, who quit in the wake of the Lokayukta report on illegal mining that indicted him.
