Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) has signed an agreement with ABUS Security Tech Germany, a security product manufacturing company based in Germany, for internship assignment for its engineering students.
R P Banerjee, director and dean, EIILM, said, “We have a total of 1900 students, across disciplines. Around 50 students now are engineers. We intend to send at least eight students per three months to ABUS in Germany for a two-month internship.”
The institute will send two students in May to ABUS and soon start sending eight students to ABUS every three months. The institute claims 100 per cent placement. Banerjee said, “Our students are usually placed in FMCG and finance firms. The average salary at our institute is Rs 2-3 lakh per annum while highest touches Rs 10 lakh.”
