The CBI is baffled by the fact that every official it touches turns out to be a millionaire, the agencys director Joginder Singh said here yesterday. Inaugurating the Jaipur regional office building of CBI, Singh gave several instances of CBI raids on the premises of small and middle-level officials which he said yielded seizure of lakhs of rupees. Singh said in a lighter vein that whoever we touch we find him to be a millionaire.
when newsmen asked him the reasons for the sudden spurt in corruption cases in the country, the cbi chief said the matter should be investigated by some social scientist.
