Electioneering for the February 16 municipal corporation polls is picking up with the third generations of Thackerays hitting the campaign trail for their respective parties.

Aditya, the 21-year-old son of Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, participated in a roadshow in Pune yesterday evening along with his younger brother Tejas and other party leaders.

The bespectacled Yuva Sena head, pursuing a law degree at K C College in south Mumbai, said people should vote out the "corrupt" Congress-NCP from the Pune civic body.

"In Mumbai, we have shown performance and hence people should give us chance to prove ourselves here too," he said. MNS chief Raj Thackeray's son Amit was the cynosure of all eyes as he travelled in a separate vehicle at his father's roadshow in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai this morning. "I am enjoying this experience," the 18-year-old second year architecture student at Raheja college said. He replied in negative when asked if he plans to enter full time politics. "Nothing is decided as yet," he added.
