Gom Endorses 100% Fdi In Tea Plantations

Commerce and industry minister Murasoli Maran today said his ministry has approached the Union cabinet with a proposal to permit 100 per cent foreign direct investment in the plantations sector with a stipulation that 26 per cent stake has to be divested in the domestic market in a five-year period.
