Employment increased at faster rates across the manufacturing and service sectors in June, although output growth remained almost flat. Job creation for the private sector overall was moderate, but the quickest in nine months, showed a purchasing managers' index (PMI) survey by HSBC. Business activity is expected to expand in line with forecasts of stronger demand and increased marketing.
