Activists of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement staged a demonstration outside Pune MP Suresh Kalmadi's residence here.
The demonstration last night was in response to the call given by 'India Against Corruption' to stage protests in front of the houses of MPs in their respective cities to highlight the 'Jan Lok Pal Bill' issue, for which, the Gandhian is on an indefinite fast in Delhi.
About 150 volunteers, who assembled in front of 'Kalmadi House' along the Karve road in Kothrud area here, sang bhajans even as police maintained a vigil around the place.
A spokesman of the demonstrators said the protest was symbolic as the scam-tainted MP is lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail and facing trial for alleged corruption in the conduct of the CWG Games.
