Ruling out a patch up with the moderate Hurriyat Conference, Tehrek-a-Hurriyat-Kashmir chief Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Wednesday said their doors were open for those who were sincere towards the Kashmir cause.

"There is no possibility of unity with those (the moderate Hurriyat Conference, which entered into talks with the Centre) who have violated the constitution of the amalgam," Geelani said at a function to launch the flag of his newly-floated party here.

He, however, said his party's doors were open for those who were sincere towards the Kashmir cause. These included Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), the People's League and the Kashmir Bar Association, Geelani, a hard-liner, said.

"JKLF's Mohammad Yaseen Malik and DFP's Shabir Ahmad Shah are trustworthy people and they are welcome in the Hurriyat," he said claiming his faction was the real Hurriyat.

People's League chairman and executive member of the erstwhile undivided Hurriyat Conference Sheikh Abdul Aziz was the chief guest at the function fueling speculation that he might pledge support to Geelani's faction.

Referring to the ongoing dialogue between India and Pakistan, Geelani said it was a good step but called for involvement of Kashmiris in the dialogue process.

He said his breakaway Hurriyat supported talks to resolve the Kashmir problem but before that "India has to revoke the 1995 resolution passed by Parliament describing Kashmir an integral part of India."
