India For Diplomacy Before Switching To Aggression Mode

The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) today agreed that the diplomatic option to bring Pakistan to heel on the issue of sponsoring terrorism should be exhausted before India takes matters in its own hands.

A member of the CCS said the issue of ordering full-scale mobilisation of the Army, Navy and Air Force had been discussed. If India moves into aggression mode, all leave to troops will have to be cancelled and artillery and hardware will have to be moved to the western border. However, the CCS source said it was
