Inflation rises to 7.83%

During the week, prices of coffee, maize, fruit and vegitable, cardamum and spices rose. Among the manufacturer food items prices of coconut oil, atta, oilseeds increased.

The goverment also revised inflation for the week ended March 8 to 7.78 per cent as compared to 5.92 per cent reported earlier.
