Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan on Monday said that he would field candidates in all the 182 constituencies of Gujarat in the assembly elections scheduled for December 2012 and would not forge alliance with any other party.
"We are strengthening the party cadre in the state. We will contest elections independently and field candidates for all the 182 assembly seats," Paswan told reporters here.
Referring to Modi's fast, Paswan said that "it is not understood what is this fast for. You can call it sort of a stunt, or an instrument for image makeover. Sadbhavana, which is being talked about in Gujarat, denotes that it did not exist in the state."
