Karnataka Lokayukta police today carried out searches at the four offices of Sohan Kumar, son-in-law of former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, in connection with the land denotification issue.
Four separate Lokayukta teams conducted searches at Prerana Chambers, two offices of Davalagiri properties and Sahyadri healthcare in the city, Lokayukta sources said. The raids came on complaints filed against Sohan Kumar and sons of Yeddyurappa in connection with land denotification and other issues, the sources said.
Davalagiri properties is owned by Sohan Kumar and sons of Yeddyurappa— B Y Raghavendra, MP and B Y Vijendra. Speaking to reporters in Koppal, Yeddyurappa who is campaigning for the BJP candidate in the by-poll, said he had knowledge about the raids yesterday itself.
