Lufthansa To Offer Special Fares For Flights To Bangalore
German carrier Lufthansa will offer special promotional fares on its new Bangalore-Frankfurt flight. The three times-a-week flight will be launched from September 1.
Bangalore is the fourth Indian destination for the carrier. Lufthansa currently operates 15 weekly flights from Frankfurt to India, seven to Delhi, five to Mumbai and three to Chennai. The introduction of the new service from Bangalore will increase the total number of Lufthansa's frequencies to India to 18 times a week.
Talking to Business Standard ahead of the launch, general manager (South Asia) Harald Hahn said, Lufthansa has set itself a target of increasing frequencies to one flight a day to each hub in India.
