Maha CM to visit flood-hit regions in Yavatmal on Saturday

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will visit Yavatmal district on Saturday and interact with the flood-hit villagers in Akola Bazar and Kali(Burud).

According to the District Collector Ashwin Mudgal, the chief minister, Chavan would go to Akola Bazar village and interact with villagers hit by flash flood and take stock of the damage caused before proceeding to Kali (Burud) in Ghatanji tehsil.

The state chief minister would later preside over a meeting of officers in Yavatmal district to review the flood situation, he informed adding further.
