No Sectoral Protection, Says Sinha

Finance minister Yashwant Sinha today ruled out sectoral protection for industry, saying protective walls will not make domestic industry competitive.

Speaking at the annual general meeting of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry, he said one could not have partial liberalisation.
