| Vice-Chancellor of the Parmar University Jagmohan Singh has just returned to Solan from Florida University after signing the MoU there. |

| The agreement between the two universities will last till June 2009. "The primary objective of this agreement is the development of co-operative efforts between the universities," said Singh. |

| "The agreement would also promote exchange between the faculty and students of the two institutions and exchange of academic and research information on selected projects," he said. |

| "Florida University has done good work in horticultural crops and its rich experience will definitely help the Parmar University which will benefit farmers in Himachal," Singh said. |
