Ratan Tata to receive CII President's Award

FM to handover award to Chairman Emeritus, Tata Group

Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of  the Tata Group, has been named recipient of the first CII President's Award. 
 
The leading industrialist from Tata house would receive  the award  from Finance Minister P Chidambaram  tomorrow in Mumbai. 
 
"We at CII have institutionalized a CII President's Award to be given to an eminent industry representative for  his overall contribution to the Indian industry and society and also for his global repute,"a statement from the chamber said.
