Hitting out at the RJD-LJP alliance, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today claimed that a strong "anti-Lalu" and "anti-Paswan" wave is blowing across the state.
"The RJD-LJP alliance would face a rout in the state in the general elections. There is a strong anti-Lalu and anti-Paswan wave blowing across Bihar as people want to see a change in governance at the Centre. It is now crystal clear that the LJP-RJD combine will be uprooted," Kumar, the NDA convenor, told reporters here.
Turning to the union steel minister, Kumar said an anti-Paswan wave was perceptible in Hajipur parliamentary constituency and JD(U)'s Ramsunder Das, former chief minister, would definitely win this time.
Just as the people of Hajipur were determined to elect Paswan in 1977, they were firm on defeating the LJP chief this time, he claimed.
