Rs 81,459-crore estimate for DFCC gets nod

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the revised cost estimate of Rs 81,459 crore for the dedicated freight corridor (DFC) project, including the land cost and the financing plan of its two eastern and western arms. The revised estimate includes construction cost of Rs 73,392 crore of the Eastern and Western DFC, and land acquisition cost of Rs 8,067 crore.
