Commerce & Industry Minister Anand Sharma on Thursday assured India Inc the government would come out with announcements to perk subdued sentiment in the industry. After chairing the fourth meeting of the Government-Industry Task Force in New Delhi, Sharma said, “I have said so earlier that the government will take decisions as par the expectations of the industry and investors... We hope that in the next three weeks there will be decisions by the government which will bring about a positive improvement.” On FDI, he said there were concerns that some decisions got delayed. “The government will take the appropriate and correct view in the interest of India’s economic growth and development. Hopefully soon.”
