TDP calls for state-wide bandh

TDP president, Chandrababu Naidu, said the United Progressive Alliance government at the Centre had completely failed to contain inflation.

The party workers staged a demonstration in the city  on Wednesday in protest against the price hike. BV Raghavulu, state general secretary of the CPI-M, also said his party, in association with other political parties, would launch a week-long agitation against the  hike in the prices.
