University of Hyderabad has entered into a partnership with University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) for collaborative research and exchange of students and faculty. Geeta K Vemuganti, dean of medical sciences, UoH, said the university had plans to open a medical school in three years, but her immediate priority would be to create a clinical skills centre and simulation lab, modelled after the one in UAMS. The two universities would develop joint educational and research programmes, according to a release here on Thursday.
