TCS top recruiter with 12 offer in cluster 3 of IIM-A summer placements

Over 20 firms participated in cluster 3, with InfoEdge in the IT Consulting and Analytics sector rolling out 5 offers

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was the top recruiter with 12 offers in the third cluster of the now concluded summer placements process for the flagship PGP class of 2023 of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.

IIM Ahmedabad follows a cluster system of final placements process where sectors are invited in cohorts at regular intervals. Held virtually, the second cluster of the summer placement process consisted nine cohorts including banking financial services & insurance (BFSI), consumer technology, core manufacturing & infrastructure, education tech, enterprise tech, financial tech, IT consulting & analytics, renewable energy & green tech and social enterprises & NGO.

Over 20 firms participated in cluster 3, with InfoEdge, in the IT Consulting and Analytics sector, rolling out five offers.

The consumer tech cohort comprised firms like Electronic Arts, GamesCraft, OLX and Winzo. In the Enterprise Tech cohort, while Microsoft was the highest recruiter with seven offers, other recruiters included Adobe, Atlassian Corporation, Microsoft, Oracle and Sprinklr. At IIM-A, new recruiters included Electronic Arts, GamesCraft, Ikigai Labs, Intelligence Node, ISDM Social and Rocket Learning, of which Ola Electric participated in the core manufacturing and infra sector and extended five offers.

The premier B-school also concluded the summer placement process for the batch of 2021-23 of the Post-Graduate Programme in Food & Agribusiness Management (PGP-FABM) program. The virtual process saw 47 students from FABM class participate

The FABM students looking for summer placements were well received by the industry and 45 companies participated in the placement process. The placements witnessed a balance of roles from all the sectors like Agro-Chemicals, Commodities, Food Supply Chain, Food industry, Agri consulting, e-Commerce, FMCG Retail and other sectors.

The placement process for FABM witnessed regular recruiters such as FMC India Pvt. Ltd., Coromandel, IFFCO Kisan, Godrej Agrovet, P&G, RB, Nestle, Agri10X, Udaan, Torq Commodities and Yes Bank.

Meanwhile, new recruiters like Pepsico and CP Foods as well as recruiters from development sector like Akshay Patra, Raah Foundation and Youth4Jobs too participated in the process.
