Around 1.5 lakh students applied for 4 lakh seats in a number of degree colleges in the state. When asked about low numbers of students for 4 lakh seats, the officials informed that a lot of students had appeared for supplementary exams; they take part in second and third rounds of admissions. All the registered students will need to login in order to see the allotment list. The list includes the allotments based on the marks obtained by the students in the qualifying exam and roster system.

Choosing the Seat In Second And Third Seat Allotment:
After the first DOST seat allotment, the qualified students had to either go ahead with the allotted seat or take part in the second round of allotment. The students satisfied with the seat given to him/her in the first allotment notified the concerned college regarding the same and confirmed the admission by payment of the admission fee. The contacted college then would check the relevant documents with a printed slip from the Principal who would confirm the admission. Those who decided to go for further seat allotment can now no longer reclaim the seat allotted to them in the previous round. Applicants will receive an SMS about allotment. They have to carry the Allotment Letter and report to the allotted college for confirming the seats.

There are some colleges that have been removed from the list of DOST. Check it here. As a result, students are required to modify their web options to the courses and these colleges as soon as possible. The third allotment list will be announced on July 13.
