The two AAP candidates could not file their nominations today as one reached late the EC office while another candidate's papers were not in order, party sources said.
Adarsh Shastri, AAP nominee from Allahabad, who got delayed in his procession, reached the Election Commission office after the time for filing nomination was over, while documents of the proposers for Shimla Shree, the Phulpur candidate, were found to be without proper verification, they said.
They will now have to file nominations before April 19 for the two seats, which fall under Allahabad district and will go to polls on May 7.
