Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said that Congress would win at least ten of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

"We are confident to win ten seats, though our target is 12. Winning 12 seats will not be a surprise for us, but we'll definitely win in 10 constituencies", Gogoi told reporters here.

"We (Congress) are here to stay...We have been here before and will also stay in the future", he said.

Assam will go for a three-phase Lok Sabha poll on April 7, 12 and 24 next.
