Ending all the speculations, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Shazia Ilmi, a former journalist, today made it clear that she is not contesting from the Rae Bareli constituency.
"I am not contesting from Rae Bareli. I never agreed to nor do I now...I've been denying this for the last two months," Ilmi said this through her Twitter handle.
There were talks that Ilmi will give contest against Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who has held the seat thrice successively.
