He arrived in the Holy city to seek support in favour of BJP candidate Arun Jaitley, who is locking horns with Congress leader Amarinder Singh.
"I am on India tour and I would ask the people to vote for BJP to bring Narendra Modi as the prime minister," he said after a photo opportunity with Jaitley.

He said that main issues like black money stashed away in foreign Banks, corruption and inflation were prevailing in the country.
Talking about Jaitley, he said "Jaitley is an intellectual, honest and foresighted and such persons should be with Modi who could be the future prime minister of the nation".
To bring overall development of Amritsar city, he said voters have golden opportunity to send Jaitley in the Lok Sabha so that he could do something for people and city.
