Private lender Axis Bank today announced the reorganisation of its operations into four Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
The SBUs are retail banking (SME and Agri), corporate, non-banking retail subsidiaries and corporate centre.
Retail banking (SME and Agri) will be headed by S K Chakrabarti, who will be designated as executive director.
This unit will own the distribution intensive businesses -- retail banking, SME and agri, the bank said in a statement here.
Corporate banking will be headed by V Srinivasan. This unit will own large corporate, mid-corporate, infrastructure, capital markets, treasury and international businesses.
Non-banking retail subsidiaries will be headed by Hemant Kaul, who will be designated as executive director (subsidiaries). The unit will govern the existing and new subsidiaries, the statement said.
