Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company today launched a new health insurance product called "Insta Insure" which will be made available in the form of a kit, as like a retail product.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai Swaraj Krishnan, CEO, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company said that customer will be able to activate the policy with a short message service (SMS) comprising of the policy code number mentioned on the kit. He said that initially the product would be launched in 20 cities and will be sold through the company's agents.
Company had set a target of Rs 10 crore new business premium during the first year.
