Bharat Overseas Bank Limited (BOBL) has opened its branch in Rajahmundry, its ninth branch in Andhra Pradesh. | |
| The Rajahmundry branch also houses 'BOBL Retail Shoppe', a one- stop financial shop wherein the bank offers retail banking facility as well as para-banking services. BOBL proposes to open three more branches in the state by March 2006. |

| Bank's chairman and chief executive officer G Krishna Murthy said, BOBL will be expanding its branch network from the existing 99 to 110 by the end of the current fiscal. |
