Under the initiative, the bank’s branches at Ollur and Paravattani have switched over to solar power, and more branches and ATMs would also be switched over in a phased manner. Cochin Port Trust chairman N Ramachandran distributeed solar study lamps to students and hawker lamps to street vendors as part of CSB’s corporate social responsibility activities.
