CSB's 'Go Green' initiatives

Kerala chief minister VS Achuthanandan on Thursday inaugurated the 'Go Green' initiatives of Catholic Syrian Bank, launched as part of its Navathi celebrations. Under the initiative, the bank’s branches at Ollur and Paravattani have switched over to solar power, and more branches and ATMs would also be switched over in a phased manner. Cochin Port Trust chairman N Ramachandran distributeed solar study lamps to students and hawker lamps to street vendors as part of CSB’s corporate social responsibility activities.
