Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) reported a 64 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 51.24 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to Rs 31.26 crore last year. Total income grew 40 per cent to Rs 298.9 crore from Rs 213.87 crore for the corresponding period last year.
The company disbursed loans worth Rs 1,274.05 crore during the first quarter of 2010-11, compared to Rs 773.94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
