Hitendra Dave is the new Global Mkt Head, HSBC

He would be responsible for the growth of sales and trading, balance-sheet management and debt financing businesses in the country, a press release issued here said.        

Dave would report to the Bank's Managing Director, Sales and Regional Treasury Management, Global Markets (Asia Pacific), Gordon French, and Managing Director, Head of Global Banking and Markets, India, Tarun Kataria, the release said.        

"The appointment of Dave shows the Bank's determination to further explore business opportunities in this territory," French said.        

HSBC Global Markets specialises in foreign exchange, credit and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets, and comprehensive global, regional and domestic securities services.        

It offers services through a network of 87 treasury sites in more than 60 countries and territories world-wide.
