OBC, Andhra Bank, BoB get new EDs

The government has cleared promotion of three general managers in public sector banks as executive directors in other state-run banks.

Bhupender Nayyar, a general manager in the Bank of India, has been appointed as executive director of Delhi-based Oriental Bank of Commerce till the date of his superannuation in June 2015 or until further orders.

Allahabad Bank general manager Satish Kumar Kalra has been appointed executive director of Andhra Bank. He is due to retire in August 2017. Ranjan Dhawan, general manager of Delhi-based Punjab National Bank will be joining Bank of Baroda as executive director and serve till September 2015.
