Prasad Gadkari joins TVS Capital Funds as MD

Gadkari brings with him more than 20 years of experience with his last assignment as the Partner at IDFC Private Equity

Prasad Gadkari has joined TVS Capital Funds, the asset manager of Rs 1,100 crore mid-cap growth equity fund, as the Managing Director, Private Equity.

Gadkari brings with him more than 20 years of experience with his last assignment as the Partner at IDFC Private Equity.

He started his career with L&T Finance Holdings as the Manager for Project Advisory Services and has varied exposure across private equity, principal investments, mezzanine capital, project finance, investment banking, and advisory.

He joined IDFC in 2008 and had led deals end-to-end, sat on company boards and managed exits. He has very good knowledge of healthcare, education, infrastructure, and logistics sectors.

Gopal Srinivasan, CMD of TVS Capital said, "he (Gadkari) has made several good investments and handled seven profitable exits at IDFC across varied investment strategies. We believe his wealth of experience and impeccable credentials will prove to be an asset while raising and managing our new Fund 3".

Prasad joins the senior management team of the TVS Capital Funds and will operate from the Mumbai office.
