RBI sets rupee reference rate at 67.1848 against US dollar
The exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 89.3020 and 65.47 per 100 yens, respectively

The Reserve Bank of India on Monday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 67.1848 against the US dollar and 74.8304 for the euro.
These rates were 67.4410 and 74.7449 respectively, last Friday.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 89.3020 and 65.47 per 100 yens, respectively. It was based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
These rates were 67.4410 and 74.7449 respectively, last Friday.
