The central bank would be pushing commercial banks hard to supply data regarding credit details to the Credit Information Bureau (India) (Cibil).
 
"Banks should reveal complete and detailed information of its borrowers to Cibil," said Usha Thorat, the newly appointed deputy governor, RBI.
 
H N Sinor, chief executive, Indian Banks' Association reiterating the same said, "There is pressure from RBI to disclose details of their borrowers."
 
This risk-mitigating move the banking system more efficient, believed experts.
