Rupee up 2 paise at 54.26/dollar in early trade
Forex dealers say strengthening of euro, yen against the dollar overseas supported rupee

The rupee today rose marginally by two paise to 54.26 against the dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on increased selling of the US currency by exporters.
Forex dealers said strengthening of euro and yen against the dollar overseas also supported the rupee.
The rupee had gained eight paise to close at 54.28 against the dollar yesterday.
Meanwhile, the BSE benchmark index Sensex fell by 21.26 points, or 0.11%, to 18,771.61 in early trade today.
