SBI signs network contract

State Bank of India, has awarded Datacraft India, a $1 million contract to design, build and manage a network connecting all its 57 offices abroad across 20 countries.

This network, connecting SBI's foreign branch offices will run on-line centralised banking applications.

The project is one of the largest of its kind in terms of the number of foreign branches involved.
