Two Banks Serve 2500 Notices

Believe it or not, Central Bank of India has served 1,500 notices over the last few weeks under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (Second) Ordinance, 2002, to wilful defaulters.
Not to be left behind, the Union Bank of India has slapped 1,000 notices on the rogue borrowers. The third in the pecking order is Bank of India. It has issued 500 notices.
