IBPS Clerk Exam 2016 Registrations are now Open; Apply before last date

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released its IBPS Clerk exam to be held in 2016. A total of 19,000 vacancies in clerical Cadre posts in 19 banks have also been announced.

According to the IBPS Clerk Notification 2016, the recruitment process is scheduled to start from August 22nd with the registration procedures.

The final allotments are expected to get completed by April 2017.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age limit: Minimum: 20 years & Maximum: 28 years i.e. you should not have been born before 02.08.1988 & not after 01.08.1996 (both dates inclusive)

Educational qualification:

(A) A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by GoI, or any equivalent qualification.

(B) Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer Systems is mandatory. You should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Computer Operations/ Language or should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/ College/ Institute.

(C) Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT is preferable. You should be able to read, write and speak it.

Selection process:

The Online examinations will be conducted in two phases. The first will be the Preliminary Examination. Candidates who qualify the Prelims will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination.
