Central Water Commission (CWC) has developed a web enabled project appraisal and management system to streamline the system and make the processes transparent. The status of various project proposals submitted by the State Governments can be tracked in the system. The guidelines for preparation of Detailed Project Report for Irrigation and Multipurpose Projects, 2010 and guidelines for Submission, Appraisal and Clearance of Irrigation and Multipurpose Projects, 2010 circulated among the States are also placed on the CWC website.
