The E- rickshaws will be a great help to dalits and poor people from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and minorities, said the Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Shri Nitin Gadkari while replying to the two- day debate on the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2014 in the Lok Sabha today. The Lok Sabha passed the Bill with a voice vote to regulate E-rickshaws which provide affordable last mile connectivity to millions of commuters including women and senior citizens.
