Minister of Urban Development Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu has directed dismissal from service of a senior official of Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for unauthorized absence from duty. As disciplinary authority, Shri Naidu has imposed the major penalty of dismissal from service of Shri A.K.Verma, Executive Engineer(Electrical). The Minister's decision came after the charge of willful absence from duty against Shri Verma has been proved in the Inquiry set up in the matter.
