VICE PRESIDENT INAUGURATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF CHARKHA (DEVELOPMENT COMMUNICATION NETWORK)

The Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari inaugurated the 20th Anniversary celebrations of Charkha (Development Communication Network) at a function here today. Addressing on the occasion, he said that Charkha organization is doing commendable work in the field of development communication and serving the poor and needy, especially those living in areas of conflict and in remote and backward regions. He said that he had learnt so much today about remarkable initiatives of late Sanjoy Ghose, the founder of Charkha and all its members.
