Ammonia leak in China's Shanghai kills 15

At least 15 people were killed and 26 others fell sick today following liquid ammonia leak at a refrigeration unit in China's commercial hub of Shanghai.

The accident took place at the refrigeration unit in Baoshan District, the municipal government announced in a posting via its official account on Sina Weibo, the Chinese Twitte, sate-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Photos on the website of a local newspaper showed fire trucks at the scene with hoses on the ground.
